- Bikewise training: is a joint partnership run by the County Durham Casualty Reduction Forum and is administered by Durham County Council's Road Safety Section which is headed by Alan Kennedy. It's open to riders of motorcycles of 500cc and above who reside in County Durham and have recently passed their test, or who are returning to biking following a break. (it is also available to any rider(s), on a 1 to 1 basis, who wish to improve their skills at a more advanced level).
